Testimony
Nantes ICCA International Workshop a resounding success!
“For me this is the most efficient way of doing business. Truly a one stop shop, with very good possibilities of networking and doing business. Last but not least the meetings are of high quality!”
Quote from a participating member
15 members and 15 clients attended the recent Sector Venues Client/Supplier Business Workshop for decision makers and influencers of international conferences. The quality of the clients was very high and all participating members felt that it was a good investment of their time and money.
Participants at the Nantes Workshop at the Les Machines de Lile
The Workshop took place in Nantes, France from 2-4 April and was hosted by La Cité Internationale des Congrès Nantes – Métropole. Carolin Marboeuf and her colleagues were superb hosts and took great care to make every participant feel welcomed. The networking evening began "On top of the Elephant" at the "Machines le l'Ile" which was a unique location and participants were given a tour and explanation of all the different machines as well as the opportunity to participate in the demonstrations which was very entertaining!
The Workshop the following day gave all the members the opportunity to meet and discuss with each client their conference requirements and whether there was a possibility to host their international conference. After the Workshop both members and clients participated in separate debriefing sessions and then returned to the hotel before the evenings networking and farewell dinner.
The Friday evenings networking reception took place on a boat while participants were taken along the beautiful river Erdre to the magnificent "Chateau de la Poterie" where they enjoyed a very special farewell dinner. The whole programme was thoroughly entertaining and the culinary exquisite. ICCA would like to say a huge thank you to Carolin and her colleagues for their tremendous hard work and hospitality, they did a great job!

French-Speaking Neurology Days
French-Speaking Neurology Days could not have found a more elegant and
functional environment. We owe you the success of that event. Our
2,000 participants consisting of neurologists, 500 pharmaceutical representatives
and approximately one hundred patient associations, were able to appreciate
the perfect harmony between your premises and our event, in addition
to the extreme competence and cheerful intelligence of all your employees.
As I have said before, if it was up to me, I would organize our event
in Nantes year after year…”
Professor M. Collard
President
Groupe LDC
(Food industry: Loué, Le Gaulois)
• The event: the Group’s 30th anniversary
• The challenge: How to bring together all of the Group’s
employees for an important and warm celebration of its human resources
and corporate values?
• The solutions:
- An event-driven program in the tradition of music halls (activities,
private performance by Eddy Mitchell, musical fireworks on water)
- transportation by 50 buses from all production sites in France
- reception arrangements for 3,000 participants
- stage and audiovisual coordination hilighting the company
(coordination by Yves Lecoq, videos, Chairman’s speech)
• The results:
“September 9th will be forever engraved in the memory
of each participant because it was simply unforgettable. Our employees
did not know their destination when they departed from their original
locations. Others, including myself, were able to appreciate the professionalism
of the Nantes Cité des Congrès from behind the scenes.
The perfect management of our event in all its dimensions has helped
reinforce the LDC company spirit.”
Vincent Robin, Marketing Director
Groupe PILOTE

of a product ranges
• The challenge: how to combine the rite of annual conventions
with the festive character of the company’s 40th anniversary?
• The solutions:
- New motor home exhibit in the Great Hall,
- Production of a company video on the developments in tourism and
leisure time management,
- Festive personnel party,
- Party for major dealers, suppliers and partners,

“In addition to its high-quality technical equipment and superior
service, the added value of the Cité resides in its capacity
to develop suitable solutions for every organizer’s specific
requirements. Having only one liaison, while knowing that an entire
project team was working on our event, allowed us to concentrate on
our commercial goals and enjoy the hospitality of the establishment.
This is why we were able to achieve them!”
